DAB Radio USB - An App to Control Your USB DAB+ Receiver
DAB Radio USB is a free Android app developed by Josua Dietze that lets you control your USB DAB+ receiver with ease. The app has a straightforward user interface that is easy to use. It comes with an option to save the currently visible infotext to a file (append) and then share or export that file.
The app also has color customization for the info text that can be accessed by touching and holding the info text area. Experimental support for steering wheel button operation is also available. However, the app only works with a USB receiver with one of the specified device IDs listed at the bottom.
DAB Radio USB is optimized for car screens of 1024x600, in landscape mode. If you have a different resolution and the app looks weird, you can post your concerns on the website (XDA Developers, see link). The app is built upon the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), published under the Apache License 2.0.
Overall, DAB Radio USB is a great app for people who prefer a simple user interface optimized for car screens. However, it is not a competition for the excellent "DAB-Z" app.
